THE PIE MECHANIC
WHERE GENIUS MEETS PASTRY
The Pie Mechanic Uralla is hands down the best pie you will ever experience. and the Portuguese Tarts are epic... you have been warned... wear loose trousers.
This old aircraft hangar was moved by Jack Monroo from Brisbane to Uralla after the war in the early 1950's. For many years Mr and Mrs Monroo traded as Monroo Brothers; the "largest Holden and Chevrolet dealership out of Sydney". Since then this unique building has served as a garage, NRMA depot, tyre shop and freight company. Since December 2018 this historic building has undergone a magical transformation and has become home to more than 30 small individually owned enterprises under the one huge roof, known as Little Birdy.
We are offering you a unique shopping experience with a combination of antiques & collectables, high quality handmade items and the best of our New England local products.
30+ shops under one roof: an eclectic mix of gifts & homewares, antiques & collectables and high quality handmade products
